What sort of image can I upload?

Images can be uploaded for your Business Logo and your Contact Picture on your Profile. You can upload .jpg or .gif images up to 1MB in size. Large images will be scaled down to fit within the area on the Profile.

How do I upload a video to my Profile?

Your Profile uses a YouTube video for your iMeVideo. Find your video on YouTube and click Share this video below the video.

The URL for the video will be displayed. Copy this into the Video URL field when uploading the video from the Control Panel.

What are the different email addresses for?

There are two emails addresses used by iMeProfile.

We will use the email address you supply when you register for your Profile to send you information about your account, and news and updates about iMeProfile etc. This email address is not visible to other users.

The email address displayed on your Profile can be used by people to contact you and will be used by us to send you notifications e.g. if someone tries to contact you via iMeConnect.

The two email addresses can be the same.

Why can't I see all the Business Text on my Profile?

The area on your Profile for the Business Text is limited to a certain size. If the amount of text exceeds that size it will be truncated and some text will not be displayed.

The amount of text that you can get on your iMeProfile will depend on the font size that you use. Reducing the font size may help.

Why can't I see my picture in the Search Results?

You can choose whether to display your Contact Picture or Company Logo in the Search Results through the Contact Picture and Business Logo pages on the Control Panel. Make sure that you have selected the option to display one or the other.

If you have one selected but nothing is displayed, the small picture used in the Search Results page is created when you upload your Contact Picture or Company Logo. Try uploading your Picture or Logo again through the Control Panel.

How many videos/audio files can I upload?

The number of documents, videos and audio files that you can upload depends on what level of account you have.

The Basic Account (free version), allows you one document, one video and one audio file.

Upgrading to a Premium Account lets you upload more for a small monthly fee.

How do I play a Vimeo video?

Vimeo videos can be played by using a URL of the format //player.vimeo.com/video/xxxxx where xxxxx is the numeric identifier of the video.

How do I use custom skins?

Custom skins are provided to enable you to upload your own Profile background.

Select the Custom Skin option from Profile Background in the Control Panel.

From there you will be able to upload a custom skin for you profile or download a custom skin template to modify to create your own custom skin.

How do I upgrade my account?

Upgrading your account gives you additional features and capacity on your Profile for a small monthly fee.

You can upgrade either from the Shop or via the Go Premium buttons on the Control Panel.

How do I report a Profile?

If there is some aspect of a particular Profile that you believe does not comply with the iMeProfile Terms & Conditions and should be taken down, you can click on the Report Abuse logo on the Profile or send an email to reportabuse@imeprofile.com.

How do I delete my Profile?

If you would like your current Profile deleted so that you can create a completely new one please contact iMeProfile Support via the Support Request form accessed from the Support link at the bottom of the page.
